"INEVITABLE CHANGE"

Inevitable

1.unable to be avoided, evaded, or escaped; certain; necessary:

2.sure to occur, happen, or come; unalterable:

3.that which is unavoidable.

Those that are fans of music, I mean, REAL FANS of music, may know of one of the most iconic songs that have ever come through the windpipes of any soul singer. That song is "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke. In the song, Sam Cooke sings "it's been too hard living, but I'm afraid to die/Cause I don't know what's up there beyond the sky/It's been a long, a long time coming/But I know a change gonna come/Oh yes it will." Anyone that's reading this blog can agree that change is inevitable in life. In that song, which was released in 1964, Mr. Cooke encapsulates the thinking of many people that were dissatisfied in that time. However, decade, after decade, after decade, after decade, the poor(not just financially) and disenfranchised have been subconsciously desiring a change to come as well.

In his monumental book "The Fall of America", on page.101, The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad(MHEM) says "we are living in a time where dissatisfaction is one hundred percent throughout the world of man and mankind. Therefore we are living among the dissatisfied persons, daily and nightly." It seems that no one is satisfied with the current state of affairs despite their social or economic demographic. Rather we are democrat or republican. Rather we are Christian or Muslim. None are satisfied with the world as it is today. Which can ultimately be a good thing! In fact, the the book of James 4:4 states "don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God." So, can it be that our dissatisfaction with this world is causing us to decide if we're going to grow more in love with God? Or, are we fighting hard to maintain a world that God Himself is not satisfied with? Either way, the dissatisfaction of those striving to be righteous, and those whom oppose righteousness, is bringing about an inevitable change.

Change has to take place in order for transformation to occur. Whenever one level of life is phasing out and making way for another. As children, there were inevitable changes that occurred during times of our development from the baby coming out of the womb, to the child learning to crawl, to the child that begin walking and running, to the child entering their first day of school, to our matriculating from different levels and schools of thought. Change had to occur. We all can agree that the time we're living in (covid era) will NEVER be the same as what we considered normal(pre-covid). However, if the book of Revelations state "And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make ALL THINGS NEW." Although we may not completely understand the change, CHANGE IS INEVITABLE!

May Allah(God) grant you and I with the FAITH, FOCUS, FIGHT, and FINANCES to make the proper adjustments as we strive to level up in life.

Let's have an AMAZING WEEK!

Sam Cooke's song still rings true today.-change gone come. However, history always has a way of repeating itself. Folks done went to their grave waiting on that change. SMH If we want to see a difference, we have to put forth effort and obedience to make it happen. Either way, God will be in the midst of it all.
