"You don't love them (Black woman). Why? You (Blackman) have allowed visitors to run in and out of your house, thus they have destroyed you for your woman and your woman has lost love for you that she should have." -The Honorable Elijah Muhammad
"In the breaking of he Blackman, the enemy has lifted you (black woman) in an unnatural way."-The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan
"The right woman can ALWAYS bring the best out of the man in her life. Especially when she has THE knowledge of God." -The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan
"When we learn the value of a woman, and o be to her what God created us to be, we will be blessed beyond measure."-The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan
No one wins!
Recently, there have been various platforms that have garnered attention based on their "gender comparing/competing" content. I must admit, although it's frustrating to see the clips(soundbites) that may circulate from these platforms, the comments can in fact be entertaining. We (Black people) are a special/unique/dope people! We can have a funny joke for nearly any situation. smh/lol. However, much of the content serves very little purpose outside of providing entertainment (to our detriment). While living in a society that is diametrically opposed to the complete maturation of Black men and women (meaning our growth into the reflection of God), we will continue to have valid points regarding what each gender is lacking. We live in a society that takes little to zero interest in NURTURING our NATURES. That's right. I said it. NURTURING our NATURES. Our beautiful natures are a compliment to one another.
Essential Education
"Education is supposed to be the proper cultivation of the gifts and talents of the individual through the acquisition of knowledge. Knowledge satisfies our natural thirst for gaining that which would make us one with our maker. So, true education cultivates the person's mind, body and spirit by brining us closer to fulfilling our purpose for being, which is to reflect Allah(God). The second purpose for education, after self cultivation, is to teach us how o give PROPER service to SELF, FAMILY, COMMUNITY, NATION, and THEN THE WORLD."- The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan
Very few of us were taught these essential components of education. We've matriculated into some of the finest universities. Graduated with many degrees. However, many of us have never had a course/courses focused on
Knowledge of self
knowledge of God
Knowledge of prayer
Proper Male/Female relationships
Virtue
How To Eat To Live
How To Rear Children
How To Treat A Husband/Wife
How To Effectively Communicate/Proper Communication Skills
and many more key elements catered toward self-development/cultivation. Therefore, because we've missed out on so much, there is and ALWAYS will be room for improvement. To openly blast one another on our platforms does very little edifying. Mainly due to the fact that we're wanting to be heard/right, more than we sincerely desire change. And if we honestly desire change, in the words of the great Michael Jackson, change starts "with the man(or woman) in the mirror. I'm asking him (or her) to change his ways. No message can be made any clearer. If you wanna make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a...change."
Do we as Black men have some "growing" to do? EMPHATICALLY YES!
Do Black women have some "growing" to do? EMPHATICALLY YES!!
Are Black women a key component to Black men evolving into THE GREATEST version of OURSELVES? EMPHATICALLY YES!
Are Black men a key component to Black women evolving into THE GREATEST version of themselves? EMPHATICALLY YES!
When it's all said and done, both Black men and women, have to take on the responsibility of ACCEPTING OUR OWN and BEING OURSELVES. The greater we become as individuals, the greater we will be as teammates! We will never become great, nor gain a universal respect, as opponents of one another.
May Allah(God) bless us with the necessary faith, focus, and fight to become our greatest selves, for ourselves and one another!
Peace!
